Marc is the Portfolio Manager for Aquilo Capital Management. He has over 20 years experience in biotechnology research and investing. Previously, Marc was on the three person portfolio management team at the Biotechnology Value Fund (1995-2009). Marc has served on the Board of Directors of several private biotechnology companies. Marc is a graduate of the University of California, Santa Barbara with a B.A. in Biological Sciences and has a J.D. from Santa Clara University.

Prior to Aquilo Capital, Marc spent 14 years as a portfolio manager at BVF Partners L.P. (BVF), a dedicated life science investment fund. Marc was responsible for investment selection, research analysis and portfolio management. During his career Marc has worked closely with his portfolio companies on strategic development, corporate partnering and structured financings.

Previously, Marc has served on the board of several private life science companies.

Marc received a BA in biological sciences from the University of California at Santa Barbara and a JD from Santa Clara University.
